Easter Protein Balls For You & Your Family!

Easter is a time for family, friends, and delicious food. While traditional Easter treats like chocolate eggs and jelly beans may not be the healthiest options, there are still ways to indulge in a sweet treat while maintaining a healthy lifestyle. In this blog post, we'll share a recipe for Easter Protein Balls that are perfect for a healthy and satisfying treat.

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 1/2 cup almond butter or any other nut butter
  • 1/2 cup protein powder ( vanilla or chocolate)
  • 1/4 cup shredded unsweetened coconut
  • 1/4 cup honey or maple syrup
  • 1/4 cup of your favorite chocolate chips
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • Pinch of salt
  • Easter sprinkles for decoration

Instructions:

  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the rolled oats, almond butter, protein powder, shredded coconut, honey or maple syrup, vanilla extract, and salt. Mix until well combined.
  2. Fold in the chocolate chips.
  3. Roll the mixture into 1-inch balls and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  4. Place the baking sheet in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes, or until the balls have hardened.
  5. Once hardened, roll the balls in your Easter sprinkles or any other desired decorations.
  6. Store the protein balls in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to one week.

These Easter protein balls are the perfect sweet treat to celebrate the holiday while maintaining a healthy lifestyle. They are packed with protein and healthy fats to keep you full and satisfied, and the added oat and coconut give a good dose of fiber. And the chocolate chips and sprinkles add a touch of sweetness and fun that is perfect for the holiday.
